Carolina Quarries in Rockwell on Tuesday reported a break-in and vandalism at the business, 280 Comolli Road, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

In other Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• A man reported fraud Monday in the 1300 block of Henderson Grove Church Road.

• An Erwin Middle School student became enraged, threw a chair, kicked out a glass window and ran from the school. He was stopped by law enforcement officers and released in the custody of Nazareth Children’s Home staff.

• A woman reported Tuesday that someone discharged a firearm on her property in the 100 block of Hope Hill Road.

• A woman reported Tuesday that her husband was intoxicated, punched her and knocked a bedroom door off its hinges in the 300 block of Arrowood Road.

• Akeem Abdullah Malik, 56, was charged Tuesday with being a habitual felon at the Rowan County Courthouse.

• Michael Scott Oliver, 43, was charged Tuesday with felony obtaining property by false pretenses.

• Brandon Adam Ferguson, 28, was charged Tuesday with felony conspiracy at the Rowan County courthouse.

• Josiah Patrick Hurst, 27, was charged Tuesday with felony conspiracy at the Rowan County Courthouse.

• Dustin Bradley Sullivan, 36, was charged Tuesday with felony fleeing to elude arrest at the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office.
