Local man accused of stealing $2,000 worth of merchandise from Walmart

Police are looking for a Salisbury man they say took over $2,000 worth of merchandise from Walmart over the course of three weeks, including a $600 television.
Salisbury Police hope the public can help them determine the whereabouts of Scottie Todd Patterson, 34, whose address was listed as the Grand on Julian.
Police officials said in addition to a TV, Patterson is believed to have taken $500 worth of cigarettes. Police knocked on the door of an apartment listed for Patterson and he didn’t come to the door.
About an hour later, officials said, Scottie Patterson, called the police station to ask if there was a warrant for his arrest. He’s believed to be driving a black Nissan Altima or a gray Dodge Challenger.
