Blotter: High Point man charged with resisting officer, assaulting official

SALISBURY — A High Point man was charged with resisting a public officer, being intoxicated and disruptive, and assaulting a government official, according to warrants.
Officers were called to a scene in the 1900 block of East Innes Street after a disturbance was reported, according to the warrant.
Anthony Kendall Aldrige, of the 2500 block of Ambassador Court in High Point, allegedly resisted, delayed and obstructed officers by screaming and cursing at a witness, the warrant states.
While being apprehended, Aldrige reportedly kicked inside the right knee of one of the officers and pushed another officer while in handcuffs, according to the report.
