A severe thunderstorm is moving through the county from the west, with gusts around 40 mph and pea-size hail.

The entire county and surrounding counties are under a severe thunderstorm watch, meaning conditions are right for the formation of severe thunderstorms, until 10 tonight.

We’ll probably see more sunshine today, but that could contribute to severe thunderstorms later this afternoon.

Some of the storms will produce large hail, damaging winds, frequent lightning and heavy rainfall. An isolated tornado is possible.
