SALISBURY — Someone fired gunshots into a Salisbury home early Tuesday morning. The homeowner and another occupant weren’t injured, officials said, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman homeowner said she didn’t know why her home was a target in the 4:30 a.m. shooting in the 7500 block of Blackwelder Road.
A woman staying at the home told authorities she heard gunshots. She was asleep in a front bedroom and saw a shattered window in the front part of the house.
