Authorities say a Gold Hill man who was charged over the weekend with secret peeping was video-recording a 14-year-old girl in a bathroom.

The victim is the daughter of someone the man knew, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.

Christopher Joe Sebastian, 43, of the 18000 block of Old Beatty Ford Road, was charged with the felony offense on Sunday. He has since been released from the Rowan County Detention Center under a $25,000 secured bond.

Authorities say the investigation remains open and could lead to further charges.
