McNulty ~ Gray Engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis McNulty of Orlando, Fla., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon McNulty, of Durham, to Harrison Gray, of Durham.

Shannon is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Henkle of Orlando, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles McNulty of Apopka, Fla.
Shannon graduated in 2009 as the Valedictorian of Timber Creek High School, Orlando, Fla. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a specialization in Biotechnology. She received her Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from Duke University in 2018 and is currently pursuing post-doctoral studies in clinical genomics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.

Harrison is the son of Ms. Lori Young Gray of Spencer, and Mr. John Robert Gray Jr., of Charlotte, and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Glenn ‘Boonie’ Young, of Salisbury; Colleen Gray and the late John Robert Gray Sr.; and the late Helen Hendrick Gray.

A 2007 graduate of Salisbury High School, Harrison graduated in 2011 with an undergraduate in Microbiology from North Carolina State University, Raleigh. He is currently pursuing a masters degree in Biomanufacturing from NCSU. Harrison is employed as a manufacturing associate at Biogen Inc. in Raleigh.

The wedding is Nov. 23, 2019, and will be held at The Cloth Mill at Eno River in Hillsborough.
