As election day is quickly approaching, I will be voting for change when I vote. For mayor, I am choosing Meredith Bare Smith, and my choice for the two alderman seats are Katie Sells and Ashley Stewart.

I believe these three will help Landis begin to grow again. We need industry to locate in this town again. Will they with the uncontrolled electrical and water bills?

I am so glad that I have DVD copies of the town’s board meetings since the spring of 2004. I watch them at times if there is something that comes up in a meeting about how something was handled in the past.

In closing, remember to vote on Nov. 5.
