In Salisbury Police Department reports

• A man reported on Monday he was physically assaulted in the 1100 block of Old Concord Road.

• Denzelle Tyron Wright, 24, was charged on Saturday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI while in the 500 block of South Church Street.

• Abigail Leona Poleon, 24, was charged on Saturday with misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the 100 block of Elm Street.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports

• Three West Rowan Middle School students were charged on Friday with simple possession of marijuana while at the school, 5925 Statesville Boulevard. The case will be referred to teen court.

• A man reported on Friday someone stole the license plate from his vehicle parked in the 400 block of Trexler Road.

• A woman reported on Saturday someone stole items from her vehicle while in the 1100 block of Dial Street, Kannapolis.

• A woman reported on Saturday she was assaulted while in the 400 block of White Farm Road.

• A woman reported on Sunday she was the victim of an assault while in the 200 block of Mendenhall Road.

• A man reported on Sunday someone stole a chainsaw in the 2200 block of Needmore Road, Woodleaf.

• Dandre Treshaun Mitchell, 24, was charged on Friday with felony possession of a stolen firearm while in the 400 block of Grace Church Road.

• Damian Chase Ackman, 16, was charged on Friday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI up to 1/2 an ounce while in the 8000 block of N.C. 801, Mount Ulla.

• William Scott Kerr, 34, was charged on Saturday with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance Schedule IV while in the 2800 block of North Cannon Boulevard, Kannapolis.

• Benjamin Joseph Wallace, 51, was charged on Sunday with misdemeanor assault on a female while in the 400 block of White Farm Road.

• Shawn Kevin Linthicum, 48, was charged on Sunday with misdemeanor assault on a female while in the 200 block of Mendenhall Road.
