SALISBURY – Janet LaBar, the new president of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, will speak at the Power in Partnership breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Nov. 21 at Trinity Oaks, 728 Klumac Road.

LaBar is president and CEO of the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance and a seasoned regional economic development leader. She was selected to lead the alliance after a four-month national search.

Before joining the alliance in April, LaBar held the same position at Greater Portland Inc., a regional public-private partnership that markets the Greater Portland metropolitan aera and helps companies expand and relocate to the region.

The reservation deadline is noon Nov. 19. The cost is $15 for members and $25 for nonmembers. The price includes the cost of breakfast and the program.
