Kannapolis man arrested in China Grove gas station robbery

CHINA GROVE — Three days after a man robbed the Circle K convenience store, police made an arrest Thursday.

The China Grove Police Department charged a Kannapolis man after receiving tips from the public.

Terry Bernard Jordan, of the 4800 block of Samuel Richard Street, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with robbing the store, located at 513 N. Main St.

In addition to tips from the public, Jordan was identified through evidence collected at the scene that linked him to the crime, according to a release from the Police Department.

Jordan was charged with robbery, second-degree kidnapping, and assault and battery. He is being held at the Rowan County Detention Center under a $75,000 secured bond.
