SALISBURY — A Salisbury man is charged with additional sex offenses three months after being placed on the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office most-wanted list on similar charges.
Donald Clair Reynolds, 32, of the 200 block of Hickory Lane, was charged Wednesday with one count of felony taking indecent liberties with a child.
The initial charges in the case were filed in 2016 when Reynolds was 28, but additional information has come to light since those charges were made, according to sheriff’s Capt. John Sifford.
The girl who is the victim was known to Reynolds and between 8 and 10 years old when the offenses were said to have occurred.
Reynolds was charged in August with felony taking indecent liberties with a child. Rowan investigators put Reynolds on the Sheriff’s Office most-wanted list, and he turned himself in through his attorney the same week.
He gave a written promise to appear in court this week because of an existing bond on the same charges, according to a Sheriff’s Office report.
