Why is there virtually no coverage of violent offenders being released by the Mecklenburg County sheriff?

This year, 500 offenders with Immigrations and Customs Enforcement detainers, were released back into the population. While this may appear to be Mecklenburg’s issue, it is of concern to us given their proximity.

It’s particularly relevant since one of the 500 was a sexual predator and was charged with the assault of a child.

We can also be sure the governor knows and approves of this action. So where is our local paper in all of this?
