City employees representing eight departments gathered on the Square in downtown Salisbury on Friday to sing Christmas carols to pedestrians and passers-by in cars waiting at traffic lights.
This is the second year that city employees took 30 minutes out of their day to offer good cheer to the public.
The gathering was part of the weekly Community Engagement Friday.
