SALISBURY — Salisbury High School was placed on a code-yellow lockdown early Friday afternoon after reports of a suspicious man on school property.

According to the Salisbury Police Department, a suspicious man was reported on campus by a school resource officer at 11:57 a.m. Friday.

The man was arrested and the school remained on lockdown for student safety and security reasons.

The suspect was in police custody.

Police inspected the campus to ensure no other suspicious people were on the property.

No details or identifying information were released about the suspect.

No injuries were reported, and no weapons were found on the man at the time of his arrest.
