Biz Roundup: Rowan-Cabarrus college to hold board meeting

SALISBURY – The Rowan-Cabarrus Community College board of trustees will meet at 4 p.m. Monday in the Paradowski board room on the North Campus, at 1333 Jake Alexander Blvd. S.
Highlights at the meeting will include the recognition of Amy Mahle, chairwoman of the occupational therapy assistant program, as the 2019 Suzanne C. Scullin Award recipient and Jenny Billings, chairwoman of academic and career advising and the English department, as the 2019 N.C. Community College Association of Distance Learning Innovator of the Year Award recipient.
Agenda items include a report on FTE compliance, an update on Career & College Promise and Career/Technical Education academies, an update on performance measures, a recommendation to approve the fiscal 2019-20 budget, and recommendations on construction contracts and amendments.
