I write to express my gratitude for Mark Wineka’s career with the Post and my sorrow that he is retiring.

Mark’s intelligence, curiosity, writing skill, playfulness and, most important, compassion, combine to make an outstanding journalist.

He has enriched our lives, and I am grateful. I shall look forward to his continuing work with Salisbury the Magazine and wish him a happy and healthy semi-retirement.
