Winter has returned, at least for the next week.
Today will be sunny, with a high of just 45. Winds will be north northeast at 5-9 mph.
Tonight will be mostly cloudy and cold, with a low of 30 and light east wind.
Saturday brings a slight chance of sleet before 9 a.m., then a 60 percent chance of rain. It will be cloudy and 45 with south southwest wind around 6 mph in the afternoon. Little to no sleet accumulation is expected.
Saturday night has a 60 percent chance of rain, too, mainly before midnight. It will be mostly cloudy and 38, with southwest wind at 5-7 mph and gusts to 18 mph. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
Sunday will be mostly sunny and 52, with northwest wind at 3-7 mph. The deep cold arrives Sunday night, with a low of 25 and mostly clear skies.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be sunny, but just 42 degrees. And it will be a cold night, with a low of 22.
Tuesday will be sunny and 41, and, with a mostly clear night, cold again, with a low of 22.
Wednesday will be a bit warmer, with sunny skies and a high of 46. The low will be 24, with partly cloudy skies.
Thursday will be sunny and 50.
