LANDIS — The Landis Board of Aldermen will hold a special meeting at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Landis Town Hall.
Aldermen will hold a closed session to consider adopting the Town of Landis personnel policy, which was drafted in November 2013.
The former board approved a change allowing Landis town employees to run for town board. Formerly, no one who was paid by the town could serve. The updated policy said employees could be elected to the board and couldn’t be department heads.
Deputy Town Clerk and Administrative Assistant Heather Wood has also resigned, according to Finance Officer Diane Seaford.
