Blotter: Two vehicles broken into at Innes Street Market

SALISBURY — Salisbury Police say it appears that two vehicle break-ins at Innes Street Market shopping center maybe connected. A jacket and iPad were taken from the vehicles, a spokesman said.

According to Police Lt. Greg Beam, a jacket was taken from a vehicle parked at Old Navy, 385 Faith Road. The owner told police the driver’s side lock was damaged. The incident occurred Friday between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Around the same time a vehicle parked at Pet Smart, 345 Faith Road, an iPad that was charging inside the vehicle was stolen. Beam said the owner told police she locked her door, but according to the report, there was no forced entry into the vehicle.
