Rowan weather: Rain, rain go away

The chance of rain today is 90 percent, and we’ve already had some very heavy rainfall. Wednesday won’t be quite as bad, but Thursday could be stormy.
Today’s high will be 67, with south southwest wind at 6-16 mph, gusting as high as 22 mph. Patchy fog is likely between 10 and 11 a.m. A quarter to half inch of rain is possible.
Tonight, we have a 40 percent chance of showers, mainly between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy and 46, with west wind at 5-7 mph shifting to the north northeast after midnight. Less than a tenth of an inch of rain is expected.
Wednesday will have a 60 percent chance of rain, mainly after 3 p.m. It will be cloudy and 52 with light east northeast wind. A tenth of an inch of rain is possible.
The chance of showers goes up to 70 percent Wednesday night, with a low of 48. Winds will become south southwest at 6-11 mph after midnight, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Another tenth to quarter inch of rain is possible.
Thursday has a 90 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms before 1 p.m. The high will be 67, with southwest wind at 10-13 mph, gusting to 30 mph.
Thursday night’s chance of showers will be just 30 percent, and mainly before 7 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy and colder, with a low of 35.
Friday will be sunny and 48, with a clear night and a very cold low of 25.
Saturday will be sunny and 45, with a mostly cloudy night and a low of 32.
Rain returns Sunday, with a 50 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy and 52. The same chance of rain is possible Sunday night, with mostly cloudy skies and a low of 40.
Monday will be mostly cloudy and 60, with a 40 percent chance of showers.
