I would like to ask my fellow Rowan County Democrats to vote for Amy Klobuchar for president in the upcoming primary.

I have supported her since she announced her candidacy as I believe she has the experience, moral character and leadership ability to lead our country.

She has put forth practical policy proposals on health care and other issues which are in marked contrast to the “pie in the sky” proposals of some of the other candidates.

In the U.S. Senate, she has shown the ability to work with others to actually get bills passed. She is not wedded to a particular ideology at the expense of practical solutions to real problems. She is honest, truthful, and has great empathy and integrity.

In this time of chaos and uncertainty I feel she can provide the steady hand to guide the nation through these rocky times and I urge Democratic voters to support her.
