Gospel fundraiser

Installation service
Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, 719 S. Caldwell St., celebrates the installation of new pastor Rev. Dr. Roy L. Dennis and First Lady Delphine T. Dennis, beginning Saturday with a banquet at the Aymer Center at Hood Theological Seminary from 6-9 p.m. Rev. Dr. Nathan Scovens of Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, W-S, will speak.
On Sunday at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. G. K. Moss will speak and Rev. Dr. Robert L. McGowens Sr. of Greater Galilee Baptist Church in Charlotte, will lead the 3 p.m. Installation Service. Lunch will be provided at 1 p.m. Sarah D. Ford is Installation chair.
Paint and Eat event

Jerusalem Baptist
SPENCER — Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1570 N. Long St. extension, will celebrate Mission Day on Sunday during the 11 a.m. service. East Spencer native Rev. Phyllis Jones will be the speaker. Rev. Jones is a legal attorney in Fayetteville, and associate minister at First Baptist Church in Fayetteville. Special music will be provided by the JBC senior choir. Rev. Dr. David Bracken is host pastor.
New Bethel Baptist
New Bethel Baptist Church will celebrate their pastor, Rev. John R. Bankhead Jr.’s, second pastoral anniversary on Sunday. The 11 a.m. speaker is Pastor J.J. Rice from Fairfield Baptist Church, Mocksville. Dinner will be served at 1:30 p.m. The 3 p.m. speaker will be Rev. Dr. Keith Curry of Oak Grove Baptist Church, China Grove.

John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 1620 Brenner Ave., hosts Sunday Lenten services at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary, exploring the theme of “Wilderness.”
Frank Voltz in Concert
MOCKSVILLE — On Sunday at 3 p.m. Center UMC, 1857 US Hwy 64 West, presents a concert by Frank Voltz, a multi-talented musician on piano, harp and organ. There is no charge for this event but a love offering will be taken. A light reception follows.
Lilly’s Chapel Women’s Day
Lilly’s Chapel Church of God, 618 W. Thomas St., will hold its annual Women’s Day Program on Sunday at 3 p.m. Guest speaker will be Rev. Frenchie McConneaughey, co-pastor of God’s Tabernacle for Believers Church of Rockwell. Host pastor is Dr. Doris Clawson. Special music will be rendered by the God’s Tabernacle Church Choir.

The Men’s Booster Ministry of Moore’s Chapel AME Zion Church, 500 Partee St., will have its annual program on Sunday at 3 p.m. with Rev. Demond Hairston, pastor of New Zion AME Zion Church in Robbins. Rev. Robert N. Kelley Jr. is host pastor and Calvin Turner is president of the Men’s Booster Ministry.

The Presbyterian Women of Trinity Presbyterian Church USA, 300 S. Caldwell St., will observe its annual Women In White program on Sunday at 5 p.m. on the theme of “Honoring Women’s Spiritual Struggle and Survival” with speaker LaQreshia Bates Harley, associate pastor of Reid’s Memorial and Freedom Presbyterian Church, with special music by the Women’s Choir of Cameron Presbyterian.
First UCC’s Lenten series

Baptist Spring Revival
The Rowan Southern Baptist Association hosts Spring Revival March 15-17. Services are Sunday at 6 p.m. and Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 223 N. Fulton St., featuring Dr. Chuck Register, executive leader of Church Planting and Missions Partnerships for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina since 2009.
Worship will be led by First Baptist Salisbury, First Baptist China Grove and Trading Ford Baptist Church. A nursery will be provided.
United Ministerial Alliance
EAST SPENCER — The United Ministerial Alliance will host its joint worship service at 7 p.m. Sunday at Love Christian Center, 102 N. Long St. Rev. Dr. Laura A. Washington, associate pastor at Solid Rock Church of God, will speak. Elder Antonio (Toney) Snipes is host pastor; Bishop W. Ronald Hash, Pastor Emeritus.
