Victory ’45
Rowan Museum and Rowan Public Library’s six-month campaign of lectures and events to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of World War II has been cancelled or Postponed until at least April 15.

Rowan County History Classes
The remaining Rowan County History classes are cancelled. The final speakers will be filmed and distributed to class members. www.historicsalisbury.org
Lee Street theatre
We are postponing “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time” to later this season. Because of this delay, “Death of a Salesman” has been cancelled. We are on track with our summer musical, “9 to 5.” The June 26 Chatham County Line concert is also on track. All other events and rentals are postponed. See www.leestreet.org
Piedmont Players
‘Madagascar’ auditions and show dates have been rescheduled.
Auditions scheduled for next week are postponed and will be rescheduled as soon as possible. New audition and show dates will be posted by the end of March.
‘Funny Thing Happened on the Say to the Forum’ set build and show dates will be rescheduled and announced as soon as possible.

The Golan Heights Wine Dinner has been cancelled, perhaps to be scheduled. Suspended: Friday wine tastings for now.
The Hall House

Center for Faith & the Arts 25th Anniversary Gala March 21 has been Postponed. Ticket holders will be contacted.

Postponed: Open House Celebration of the Atrium Health Ballpark, Rhythm and Run 5K, Spring it On Run, and Senior Day Trips. New dates will be announced as soon as possible.
Cancelled: Daddy and Daughter Dance, Open Gym, Zumba, Cheer, Self-Defense Classes, Girls Who Code, dodgeball and all youth sports such as basketball and soccer.
Still planned: The March and April City Council, Planning Board and Board of Adjustment meetings will continue as planned.
Parks: All parks are open for general use but rentals of shelters, and events are cancelled until April 14. The train and carousel in Village Park will not open until April 14.
Cabarrus Arts Council
Cabarrus Arts Council has cancelled the remainder of its March events including the Art Walk, Susan Werner & David Miles concert at The Davis Theatre, the Art Lab at The Galleries and the Art on Dance Party at The Galleries. See www.cabarrusartscouncil.org

Historic Rosedale
CHARLOTTE — Historic Rosedale is closed for two weeks beginning March 16. This includes the Haunted History Tours, the Annual Oyster Roast and regular House Tours.
Hickory Community Theatre
HICKORY— Hickory Community Theatre cancels and postpones events through May 11, including the final performances of “Shakespeare in Love.”
Also Postponed: th Guild beer tasting March 17, upcoming performances of “Exit Laughing” March 27-April 11.

Winston-Salem Symphony
The Winston-Salem Symphony is postponing the April 5 and April 7 Beethoven Celebration Classics Concert Series; to be rescheduled for July 18 and 19 at the Stevens Center of the UNC School of the Arts, 405 W. Fourth St.
NC Folk Festival
GREENSBORO — The Folk Festival’s Folk in the Park event that was to take place Saturday has been cancelled.
Still planned: As of now there are no plans to cancel or postpone our main event, the NC Folk Festival, the weekend of Sept. 11-13.
Fort Dobbs Historic site
STATESVILLE — The April 4-5 “War for Empire” event at Fort Dobbs State Historic Site has been cancelled.
Still open: At this time, Fort Dobbs remains open for individual visits.
Harrah’s Cherokee
Harrah’s Cherokee Casinos will be temporarily closed for two weeks effective March 18.
Old Salem
Old Salem has temporarily closed the museums to the public.
Try this instead: Old Salem has created “Old Salem Exploratorium” a series of 5- to 10-minute experiences that will bring viewers into direct visual contact with master craftsman and educators. See oldsalem.org/visit/exploratorium
NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources
RALEIGH— The NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources will suspend public operations at all locations, except state parks and trails, until further notice;
Including the NC museums of art, history and natural sciences and regional museums; state historic sites; state aquariums and Jennette’s Pier, the NC Zoo; the State Library of NC and the Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped; the State Archives, including regional archive offices; and the NC Symphony.
Still open: NC state parks and recreation area trails and restroom facilities will remain open, but visitor centers and campgrounds will be closed.
The Museum Park at the N.C. Museum of Art will also remain open.

Blumenthal Performing Arts
CHARLOTTE — Blumenthal Performing Arts has suspended all public events until April 12, including Belk Theater, Booth Playhouse and Stage Door Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center; McGlohon Theater and Duke Energy Theater at Spirit Square; and Knight Theater.
In addition, Blumenthal’s presentation of The Color Purple at Ovens Auditorium has been Postponed.
