I was shopping at Food Lion No. 1 on Monday morning with my wife and, to my surprise, a very nice young lady proceeded to wash my buggy handles and buggy with a cleaning spray and wipes as we walked through the front door.

She also gave my wife and I a wipe to carry with us throughout the store. She said that she wanted to take care of the customers. In addition to this precaution, as I was checking out, I noticed each cashier had hand sanitizer and wipes that he/she used before and after each transaction with a customer.

I consider this to be excellent service, with the customer’s welfare in mind. Definitely, all businesses should care about their customers in this manner so we will be much better off during this pandemic.
