Police: Cyclist killed in crash with vehicle

SALISBURY – A man was killed Sunday afternoon on Innes Street after being struck by a car while riding a bicycle near Interstate 85, according to police.
The cyclist did not have any identification with him and has not been identified yet, police said.
He was approximately 40 to 50 years old and pulled out in front of a silver Hyundai Tuscon while crossing the southbound ramp connecting East Innes Street and I-85, said Salisbury Police Department Public Information Officer Lee Walker.
Walker said the incident is still under investigation. More information will be reported as it becomes available.
