Blotter: Woman reports wallet stolen from unlocked vehicle

SALISBURY — A woman reported her wallet was stolen from her unlocked Chevrolet Malibu that was parked outside her Salisbury home. Her boyfriend chased three young juveniles from the area.
The vehicle, which was in the 100 block of Donner Drive, and contained a wallet, identification cards, credit cards and $40 in cash.

• Aston Properties reported on Monday someone tried to pry open the back door of the former Kmart store.
• Someone stole steaks from Harris Teeter on Monday, concealed them underneath clothing and walked out of the store with them.
• A woman reported on Monday that a rear window was broken and the house ransacked. The owner was not home at the time of the break-in, which occurred in the 500 block of West Monroe Street.
In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports
• A man reported on Friday someone stole his scooter from the 3200 block of West Innes Street.
• A man reported on Friday he was the victim of a burglary in the 6400 block of Chenault Road, Cleveland.
• A woman reported on Friday she was the victim of an assault while in the 200 block of Midway Drive.
• A man reported on Saturday his property was broken into in the 1300 block of Neel Road.
• A man reported on Saturday his moped was stolen from the 6200 block of U.S. 601.
• A man reported on Sunday someone stole items from his property in the 400 block of Correll Loop Road.
• A man reported on Sunday someone stole his vehicle from the 100 block of Lois Lane.
