I’m responding to the letter to the editor published Thursday titled “Were three phone calls worth it?”

Not sure how to respond to this. Yes, it’s called basic human decency.

I know we all have free time, but who lacks the self-awareness to complain about the emergency system?

I guess if someone in your family or distant family was missing you wouldn’t want to inconvenience people with an emergency notification if it was too late in the evening?
