As a former nursing director of the Rowan County Health Department, I wanted to extend my appreciation to the Rowan County Health Department and the Salisbury Post newspaper in keeping up with and informing the public about the current virus situation.
It is daunting effort, and I applaud the efforts that the hospitals, nursing homes and all those in the medical field in the effort to protect their clients and the public.
The governor has done an outstanding job to help contain the virus despite the discomfort and inconvenience it may have caused. The public should appreciate what he has done to help protect them.
All should be applauded for their efforts to contain the virus and appreciated for every effort that has been made to help protect the general public stay safe. I wanted to extend my personal appreciation to all those who are on the front line as this virus spreads. Thank you for all you have done.
