Man found with gunshot wound on front porch of house
SALISBURY — Late Friday, Salisbury Police officers found 25-year-old Derrick DaShawn Brown on the front porch of an Old Plank Road house with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
It’s unclear what preceded the incident, and details were sparse Saturday morning.
In a news release, police said Brown was transported to Rowan Medical Center for treatment and was in stable condition with no life-threatening injures.
Police said there was no further information available.
