As we approach Election Day for the primary elections (May 17) I wanted to highlight our Rowan County commissioner incumbent Judy Klusman and encourage you to cast your vote for her.

Judy has been Rowan County commissioner since being elected in 2014 and has served us well. She has helped promote a positive image of Rowan County, which has led to economic growth and more jobs.

She has worked toward improvements in the education of children, even serving as a reading buddy at Koontz Elementary. Judy is the type of person who works along side us and never asks anyone to do what she isn’t willing to. She is visible, accessible and easy to talk to.

She has been instrumental in advocating for the health of our county by serving on the Healthy Rowan Board and the Rowan County Health Department Board. She is an advocate for women and children and a very strong advocate for mental health and substance use disorder services.

If you want to continue to see advancements in all of these areas, vote for Judy Klusman.
