Surry Central, seeded 14th, upset undefeated Salisbury 6-3 on Wednesday in the first round of the 2A dual team state tennis playoffs. Salisbury’s Soyer Cornelison rallied to win his match at No. 5 singles and Marcus Everson won at No. 6 singles. Salisbury’s doubles victory came at No. 3 where Bryant Davis/Everson won.
