Rowan County Sheriff’s Office hosts student art exhibit

Rowan County Sheriff Travis Allen expressed interest in making a county-wide student art exhibit a staple throughout the upcoming school year as a way to encourage artistic expression throughout the Rowan-Salisbury Schools system. The art on display on June 5 was created by students at Hurley Elementary. The plan is to give other schools opportunities to submit artwork in the future.
