Three people shot early Sunday morning

SALISBURY — Three people were shot around 12:40 a.m. Sunday morning near the 1400 block of Jake Alexander Blvd, a spokesperson for the Salisbury Police Department confirmed.

A release from department said that the police department responded to the location in reference to a shooting and when they arrived they found three individuals with gunshot wounds.

The three victims have been identified as Matias Gonzalez-Garcia, 23, Flavio Antonio Arellanes-Marin, 25 and Miguel Rivero Garcia. According to a Salisbury Police Department spokesperson, all three of the victims were in stable condition as of Monday morning. Their current conditions are unknown.

The Salisbury Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Division is actively investigating the incident. The police department is asking anyone with information to contact Sgt. Hill at 704-638-5333, 704-638-5262 or investigations@salisburync.gov.

A release from the department also confirmed that the shooting was an isolated incident and no further threat was posed to the community.
