City announces Salisbury Downtown Holiday Decor contest winners

SALISBURY — The Salisbury Community Appearance Commission (CAC) has sponsored the Downtown Holiday Decoration competition for almost two decades, but this year was a little different.
Previously, commission members toured downtown businesses and chose the winners. However, this year, the public was given that task and the votes poured in. Out of 230 online votes cast, the winners of the 2023 Downtown Holiday Décor contest are:
- “Best Overall Display” — Lora Belle Baby
- “Most Whimsical Display” — Anna Craig Boutique
- “Most Original Display” — Fish Bowl
- “Best Display For Children” — Lora Belle Baby
- “Best Nighttime Display” — Graceful Beauty Lounge
- “Most Creative Display” — Skinny Wheels and Ruthie Darling (tie)
