SALISBURY — A Salisbury-based supportive housing network was included in state funding to combat are homelessness.
First Horizon Neighborhood Permanent Supportive Housing in Salisbury, sponsored by Rowan Helping Ministries, will construct 10 new rental homes assisting North Carolinians experiencing homelessness with funding allocated from Raleigh. Salisbury is one of 12 communities slated to benefit from the package.
The North Carolina Housing Finance Agency approved more than $43 million in funding for the development of rental homes in those communities for North Carolinians with special housing needs. Additional awards are expected in 2024.
