San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Javon Hargrave (North Rowan) has been selected by voters for the 2024 Pro Bowl Game.

Hargrave was a newcomer to the 49ers in 2023 after signing with the team in free agency, and he’s made an immediate impact on the interior of San Francisco’s D-line.

His 44 tackles (eight tackles for loss), 7.5 sacks and 14 quarterback hits have earned Hargrave his second-career Pro Bowl selection.

He will join eight of his 49ers teammates on the 2024 Pro Bowl Games roster:  DL Nick Bosa, FB Kyle Juszczyk, TE George Kittle, RB Christian McCaffrey, QB Brock Purdy, CB Charvarius Ward, LB Fred Warner and T Trent Williams.

 The team’s nine selections are the most in the NFL and the most the team has had since 2013.

The game will be played in Orlando on Feb. 4.
