In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • A drug violation occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 3:40 p.m. on Jan. 9.
  • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 1700 block of Old Wilkesboro Road between 1:35 a.m. and 2:40 a.m. on Jan. 10. The total estimated loss was $1,940. Police reports indicate that the stolen property included a Louis Vuitton bookbag, the victim’s wallet and a Glock 45 handgun. A police spokesperson said that the back passenger window of the victim’s car was broken into and a witness reported seeing the suspects drive off after the larceny.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred at Barringer Road between midnight on Jan. 6 and 8 a.m. on Jan. 8.
  • Possession of drug equipment or paraphernalia occurred at St. Luke’s Church Road at 1 p.m. on Jan. 7. Police reports indicate that a THC vape was found in a person’s backpack.
  • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred at Bostian Road between 10 p.m. on Jan. 7 and 5:30 a.m. on Jan. 8.
  • Kenneth Aundra Bolt, 58, was charged with shoplifting by concealing goods; possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to sell, manufacture or distribute; and a probation violation on Jan. 8.
  • Hannah Elizabeth Davis, 29, was charged with driving while her license was revoked and possession of a schedule IV controlled substance on Jan. 8.
  • Matthew James Hearne, 62, was charged with assault on Jan. 8.
  • David Paul Lineberry, 54, was charged with communicating threats and possession of between 0.5 ounces and 1.5 ounces of marijuana on Jan. 8.
