CHINA GROVE — The team of Michael Swaringen/Anthony Baker won the Warrior Two-Man Mulligan Tournament that concluded on Sunday.

The winners shot 61-60 — 121.

The team of Jay Baity/Derek Lipe finished one shot back at 61-61 — 122, as did the team of Joey Davis/Matt Cannon (60-62).

Also in the Championship Flight were Nathan Jessup/Paul Howell (123), Dalton Little/Hunter Chapman (125), Keith Dorsett/Jacob Smith (125), Andy Lombard/Jason Bernhardt (129) and Eric Mulkey/Zach Basinger (135).

Chris Owen/McGwire Owen, a father-son team shot 63 in the first round and just missed qualifying for the Championship Flight, but shot a sizzling 58 in the second round to win the First Flight by four shots.

The team of Jerry Dorenfeld/Russ Tanis was First Flight runner-up at 64-61 — 125.

Also competing in the First Flight were Robert Shoaf/Alan Shoaf (127), Chris Rae/Derek Paschal (128), Jared Barnette/Justin Lefler (128), Randy Cooper/Ricky Adams (129), Danny Burgess/Keith McGilvery (129) and Shane Keaton/Jamie Hawkins (132).

Winning the Second Flight was the team of Andrew Morgan/Blake Wray (128).

Mitchell Swaringen/Trey Swaringen (129) won the Third Flight.

The father/son team of Shane Benfield/Brody Benfield placed second in the Third Flight at 130.

Brody holed a 75-yard shot for an eagle on No. 15.

Chase Clayton/Bryson Sprinkle (134) won the Fourth Flight.

Ty Roten/James Bailey (132) won the Fifth Flight.

Todd Rankin/Lee Sullivan (142) won the Sixth Flight.

Neal McElveen/Surfi Bukhari (145) won the Seventh Flight.

Tanis made a hole-in-one on the 181-yard No. 12 hole with a 7-iron. Dorenfeld, Keaton and Hawkins witnessed the shot.

The ace meant closest to pin honors for Tanis, who also was closest to the pin on No. 8. Other closest to pin winners were Dorenfeld on No. 3; Lipe on No. 6, and McGilvery on No. 16.
