SALISBURY — The Salisbury Elks #699 and American Red Cross will host a blood drive on Friday, April 5, from 1:30-6 p.m. The event will be held at the Elks lodge located at 508 South Main Street in Salisbury.
Kathy Ender serves as the lodge chaplain and is the volunteer liaison for the blood drive. Their motto is Elks Care — Elks Share.
“Donating blood is one of the best ways to show how much we care and share,” Ender said. “We’re hoping for a great turnout from our Elks and the community. In the words of the Red Cross, every drop counts.”
To schedule an appointment, go to RedCrossBlood.org and enter: ELKS then search by date to register or contact Ender at kathyender@hotmail.com or by phone.
Ender added there’s an extra incentive at this event.
“While supplies last, donors can receive an exclusive Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire and Red Cross T-shirt,” she said. “It’s a fun way to says thanks for your donation.”
