SALISBURY — Friends of Yadkin Path has announced the hosting of its third annual Children’s Dog Show. The event, hosted at Yadkin Path Montessori’s school grounds, will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. 

The dog show is open to the community to watch local youth ages 4-16 present their beloved pets. This fundraiser is all about fun and inclusivity with superlatives such as best haircut, best costume, oldest and youngest dog and more. There will also be an optional agility course for participants that are interested. All participants and their dogs will receive prizes and award winners will receive a ribbon. 

Friends of Yadkin Path invites the community to this exciting event to enjoy a fun and friendly atmosphere, and to support a worthy cause. Attendance is free, but donations are encouraged. All donations to this nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization are tax deductible.

Friends of Yadkin Path is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to improve childcare and education in Rowan County and to continue excellence in childcare and education at Yadkin Path Montessori. Programs such as this help to raise funds for the organization to continue to support and uplift the community through education.
