CLEVELAND — The playground at Cleveland Town Park is getting a makeover starting next week.

According to an announcement from town hall, the playground equipment is gearing up for a makeover starting April 22.

“We’re tearing down the old to make way for the new, more fun and updated playground for everyone to enjoy,” an official town post said.

Despite the changes, the park itself, including the shelter and fields, will reportedly remain open.

The post provided mid-May as a possible date to reopen the playground equipment.

“We’ll keep you in the loop every step of the way and be sure to notify you as soon as the playground is ready for action again,” the post read. “Get ready to swing, slide and play to your heart’s content. Stay tuned for updates and thank you for your patience and understanding during this exciting transformation.”
