DENTON — Salisbury’s girls soccer team battled to a 1-all tie at South Davidson on Monday in Central Carolina Conference action.
Maddie Crabb scored the goal for the Hornets (8-3-2, 6-2-1), with Lola Koontz assisting.
Salisbury is home at 6 p.m. on Wednesday against East Davidson.

MOUNT ULLA – Chloe Tracy had four assists as South Rowan beat West Rowan 5-1 in South Piedmont Conference soccer on Tuesday.
South (9-5, 8-4) built a 4-0 halftime lead against the Falcons (5-9, 4-8).
Peyton Bell scored twice for the Raiders. Sophie Steedley, Paige Endicott and Ella Morgan had a goal each.
Brooke Oehler had an assist.
Margo Maples made three saves for South.
