CONCORD — Emma Clarke, EA Nance and Reese Poole socked home runs as West Rowan clobbered Concord 20-2 in three innings on Wednesday.
Clarke had four hits, with two doubles, and drove in six runs in the South Piedmont Conference game.
The Falcons (16-6, 12-3) scored 10 runs in the second inning.
Nance drove in three runs, while Ella Doby and Riley Haggas had two RBIs.
Arabelle Shulenburger pitched two scoreless innings against the Spiders (4-17, 1-4), and Lacey Houghton finished up.

HARRISBURG — South Rowan lost 3-2 to Hickory Ridge in a non-conference game on Wednesday.
Lexie Ritchie pitched a complete game for the Raiders and also hit a home run.
Meghan Eagle had the other RBI for South. Kynlee Dextraze and Eva Shue had hits for South.

HUNTERSVILLE — South (9-11-1, 8-8) bounced back with a 7-1 South Piedmont Conference win at Lake Norman Charter on Thursday.
Ritchie, Dextraze and Danica Krieg had two hits for the Raiders and drove in runs.
Winning pitcher Eva Shue struck out 10 and pitched a two-hitter. She also hit a home run.

TROY — Addie Myers had the only hit for Salisbury in Wednesday’s 10-0 loss to Montgomery Central (11-8).

Salisbury lost 4-2 on Thursday to Robinson (7-12) to close the regular season.
Tijah Sims, Jayla Robertson and Katie Peeler had hits for the Hornets (11-9). Peeler pitched and struck out seven.

KANNAPOLIS — Northwest Cabarrus pitcher Haylee Ellis pitched a five-inning complete game and led the Trojans (12-6) to a 13-0 win over A.L. Brown on Wednesday.
Mady Baker and Marynda Blackwelder had two hits for the Wonders (5-14).
