SALISBURY— The city of Salisbury is currently accepting applications for their BlockWork program between now and May 1. Initially formed by the Community Appearance Commission’s Neighborhood Leaders Alliance (NLA) in 2010, BlockWork is a neighborhood improvement project where volunteers spend the fourth Saturday in October in a one-block area within city limits taking on a multitude of tasks such as carpentry, painting, landscaping, general clean up, urban streetscape development, and exterior home upgrades.
