Volleyball: West Middle JV girls win championship

MOORESVILLE — West Rowan Middle School’s jayvee volleyball team won the Tri-County Conference Tournament on Monday at Selma Burke Middle School.

West defeated Corriher-Lipe in the quarterfinals, South Davie in a semifinal and Mooresville in the championship game.

West (14-1) was coached by Regan Bell and Jacqueline Mulkey.
