In Salisbury Police Department reports:

  • Possession of a dangerous drug occurred in the 1200 block of Camp Road at 4:30 p.m. on June 17. It was reported on June 18.
  • A larceny from a motor vehicle occurred in the 200 block of Carolina Boulevard between 2:51 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. on June 18.
  • A burglary by unlawful entry occurred in the 1000 block of East Lafayette Street between 9 a.m. on June 14 and 6 a.m. on June 18.
  • Fraud by false pretenses occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street between 7:39 p.m. on Feb. 29 and 10:31 a.m. on June 18.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 1:55 p.m. on June 18.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 300 block of South Arlington Street at 3:19 p.m. on June 15. It was reported on June 18.
  • Communicating threats occurred in the 1500 block of East Innes Street at 10:41 p.m. on June 18.
  • Shoplifting occurred in the 1500 block of Jake Alexander Boulevard South at 10:58 p.m. on June 18.
  • Candace Nicole Evans, 34, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying a public officer on June 18.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

  • A theft of a motor vehicle occurred at Hannah Ferry Road between 4:30 p.m. on June 16 and 4:53 p.m. on June 17.
  • David Todd Christy Jr., 33, was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretenses and felony identity theft on June 17.
  • Nicholas Vincent Woodard, 37, was charged with felony trafficking in marijuana and felony maintaining a vehicle, dwelling or place for controlled substances on June 17.
  • Joel David Nicholson, 40, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor communicating threats on June 17.
  • Tristan Todd Bentley, 31, was charged with two counts of felony obtaining property by false pretenses and misdemeanor failure to work after being paid on June 17.
  • Joshua O’Brian Hurlocker, 28, was charged with misdemeanor obtaining advances under a promise to work and pay for the same on June 17.
  • Raymond James Tino, 25, was charged with felony possession of a firearm by a felon on June 17.
  • Keiyenne Mynx Hijin, 38, was charged with misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor on June 17.
  • Demarius Jermaine Allen, 23, was charged with felony uttering a forged instrument on June 17.
