SALISBURY — Hungry people are invited to attend a port-a-pit dinner at Hall’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church on Friday.

The event starts at 11 a.m. at the church, located at 611 East Monroe Street, Salisbury.

A $15 meal ticket includes half of a chicken, baked beans, cole slaw, roll, dessert and drink.
