SALISBURY — Livingstone College recently received its sixth unrestricted $1 million donation, a significant investment in its growth and development. President Dr. Anthony J. Davis Jr. announced the generous contribution to the campus staff on June 18.
The anonymous donor’s investment will reinforce the college’s infrastructure and fund upcoming capital projects, further enhancing the college’s mission and impact.
The news closely follows the college’s fifth $1 million contribution, received at the beginning of the month. It underscores Livingstone College’s importance to the Rowan-Salisbury community and the state of North Carolina as one of its premier private HBCUs and its ongoing commitment to supporting its students and their families.
On Saturday, June 22, the college hosted an orientation for prospective students and their families. That event gave incoming students and their families an opportunity to immerse themselves in the Livingstone College community. They had the chance to tour the campus and meet with Davis and the staff.
