• Selling or disseminating obscene material occurred in the 1100 block of Kenly Street between 10 p.m. on June 28 and noon on June 30.
• Nicole Cathcart Land, 55, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault and battery or affray on July 2.

In Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports:

• A larceny from a motor vehicle and tampering with a motor vehicle occurred at Amberlight Circle between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. on June 30.
• An assault and vandalism occurred at Bk Avenue at 10:42 a.m. on June 30.
• A theft of a motor vehicle occurred at Pauline Court between 3 a.m. and 8 a.m. on June 30.
• Vandalism occurred at Miller Chapel Road between 12:16 p.m. and 1 p.m. on June 30.
• A larceny from a building occurred at Debra Drive at 2:53 p.m. on June 30.
• Kaitlyn Marie Jones, 25, was charged with misdemeanor second-degree burglary on June 30.
